AMA Flat Track September 26

Side by side at 120 miles an hour on two wheels! A pair of national motorcycle riding championships will be on the line as the AMA Pro Flat Track series will be in its stretch run when it comes to Calistoga Speedway. Last year, three riders still had a shot at the title when they came to the Napa Valley. Racing was so intense that none of them could lock it up, leaving Jared Mees to eventually claim the #1 plate at the season finale a week later.

Besides the 750 cc twins, another championship will be on the line for the single cylinder bikes that will have just as tight a dog-fight for top honors. Last year’s Calistoga feature winner was a teen sensation who nearly won the national title as a series rookie and will be looking to move up to the title in the AMA Pro’s next to last race of the year.
